Hack - Foundation for Agility

Hack, as she prefers to be called, is a veterinarian who has been training dogs for more than ten years. She got interested in sports with her first agility dog, a Chihuahua named Fish. She also competes in both Rally and traditional obedience, trick training, barn hunt, and is starting her current puppy, Lyra, in Mondio which is a bite sport. Hack lives with and trains a large number of dogs (and cats), mainly rescues, who are part of her family. One of her dogs is a registered therapy dog and many of her dogs have earned their Canine Good Citizen certification.

In 2016, Hack had the opportunity to work as the Behavior Specialty Intern at the University of Pennsylvania. She primarily dealt with dogs who were aggressive with dogs and people, reactive dogs, and dogs with separation anxiety. During that year she worked closely with two different no kill shelters and assisted in training some of those dogs to improve their adoptability.

With her experience working with shelter dogs, problem pets, and dog sports, Hack loves working with dogs and their owners and talking about dogs and dog training!
